Getting Started
Is PurePairing free to use?
Yes! Creating an account and getting matched is completely free. You can see your match percentages and browse profiles at no cost. A paid subscription is required to contact matches, send messages, photos and voice notes, and access advanced features.
How does the matching algorithm work?
Our AI-powered algorithm analyses 7 key compatibility dimensions: Relationship Goal (20%), Shared Interests (20%), Age Compatibility (20%), Religious Values (15%), Location Match (15%), Education Level (5%), and Lifestyle Habits (5%). Each factor is scored and weighted to produce your overall match percentage. Higher percentages mean greater compatibility.
How do I set up my profile for the best matches?
Complete every section of your profile — especially your interests, relationship goals, religion, and preferred partner preferences. The more information you provide, the more accurate your matches will be. Add a clear, recent photo to increase your match acceptance rate by up to 70%.
What age group is PurePairing for?
PurePairing is for adults aged 18 and above. We cater to all age groups looking for meaningful relationships, from dating to marriage. Our algorithm considers age compatibility preferences when calculating match scores.
Subscription & Payment
What are the subscription plans and prices?
We offer three plans: Basic (₦2,000/month) — unlimited messaging and photo sharing; Gold (₦5,000/month) — everything in Basic plus voice notes, advanced filters, and priority listing; Platinum (₦10,000/month) — everything in Gold plus personal admin matchmaking, WhatsApp match notifications, and VIP support. All prices are in Nigerian Naira.
How are payments processed? Is it safe?
All payments are processed by Paystack — Nigeria's most trusted and secure payment gateway. We never store your card details. Paystack uses 256-bit SSL encryption and is PCI DSS compliant. You can pay with debit/credit cards, bank transfers, and USSD.
Can I get a refund if I'm not satisfied?
Yes — we offer a 24-hour cooling-off refund for first-time subscriptions, no questions asked. Refunds for technical issues are also available. See our full Refund Policy for details.
Will my subscription auto-renew?
No — our subscriptions are currently manually renewed. You will receive an email reminder before your subscription expires so you can choose to renew. We do not automatically charge your card.
Matching & Messaging
What does the match percentage mean?
The match percentage (0–100%) represents how compatible you are with another person across our 7 compatibility factors. 90%+ is a Perfect Match, 75–89% is Excellent, 60–74% is Great, 45–59% is Good. Even a 60% match can lead to a wonderful relationship — the percentage is a guide, not a guarantee.
What happens when it's a mutual match?
When both you and another member like each other, it becomes a Mutual Match. You'll both receive a notification, and you'll be able to message each other directly. Mutual matches are highlighted with a pink 💕 badge on your match cards.
Can I send voice notes and photos?
Yes! With a Basic plan or above, you can send photos. Gold and Platinum subscribers can also record and send voice notes directly within the chat. All files are stored securely on our servers.
What is admin matchmaking?
Platinum subscribers get personal attention from our matchmaking team. Our admin experts manually review your profile and curate the best possible matches, then send them directly to your WhatsApp or email with a personalised message. It's like having a personal matchmaker!
Safety & Privacy
Are profiles verified?
Our team reviews profiles and awards a Verified badge ✓ to members who have confirmed their identity. While we do our best, we cannot guarantee 100% verification of every member. Always use caution and follow our safety tips when meeting anyone online.
How do I report or block someone?
On any profile, you can tap the three-dot menu (⋮) to find Report and Block options. Blocking prevents them from seeing your profile or contacting you. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours. We take all reports seriously.
How can I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data, matches, and messages within 30 days. This action cannot be undone. Alternatively, contact us on WhatsApp and we'll process it for you.
App & Technical
Is there a mobile app?
Yes! PurePairing is a Progressive Web App (PWA). When you visit our website on your phone, you'll see an "Install App Now" banner — tap it to add PurePairing to your home screen just like a native app. It works on both Android and iPhone.
